New Growth Horizon is the charitable foundation of Proper Cannabis. We are setting the bar for cannabis companies, using our platform to help our patients and our communities through a commitment of giving. We unite, connect, and serve with a greater purpose.
We were founded on the mission to help individuals achieve greater health and well-being, and with this new growth, to use their gifts in the service of the greater good. Our five areas of giving include:
- Qualifying Conditions for Medical Marijuana
- Education and Employment
- Homelessness and Housing
- Criminal Justice and Re-Entry
- Betterment of Missouri
Since 2021, we have:
- Supported 75 agencies across Missouri
- Donated over $200,000 to community organizations

Partner Spotlights
St. Patrick Center is the largest provider of homeless services in the region, SPC provides housing, employment training, and healthcare. Since 2022, we have partnered with SPC, cooking dinner in the women’s night program and spearheading donation collections.
PROMO is Missouri’s statewide LGBTQ+ public policy and advocacy organization. We have partnered with PROMO on several promotional products including the PROMO x Proper “Equality Tee” and the “Equality Matters” Pre-Roll. Proceeds from these purchases support PROMO’s vision of Missouri as a state in which LGBTQ+ people – every race, ethnicity, demographic, zip code, and experience – are valued and thriving.
The Last Prisoner Project was founded in 2019 out of the belief that no one should remain incarcerated or suffering the collateral consequences of offenses that are now legal. They work to end the fundamental injustice that is America's policy of cannabis prohibition and the War on Drugs. We have participated in their letter writing campaign and have supported them through our Wallflower event.
